Hello! It's me again Kath. Today, I'm gonna be posting an in-depth review about the Dees BC's Luxe Skincare Body Set. Before I start, I want to ask you first this question. What words come to your mind when you hear the term "Skin Bleaching Products"?
Here's mine: Whitening, Skin drying, and Peeling.
Well, mine's not only based on assumption. I've tried MANY skin bleaching sets before and those are just some of what I've experienced.
The skincare body set that I'm gonna be reviewing today was gifted to me by one of my most trusted Beauty Clinics here in Laguna, Philippines.
CLAIMS: Achieve an even skin tone, nourished, renewed and protected skin with no harsh and complicated process. Results seen in 2 Weeks after everyday use.
SET INCLUDES: Dees Bleaching Soap, Dees Brigthening Lotion, Loofah Pouch
KEY INGREDIENTS (BRIGHTENING LOTION):
- Arbutin
- Apple Stem Cells
- SPF 50
- Jojoba Oil
- Avocado Oil
- Argan Oil
- Sweet Almond Oil
- Aloe Vera Extract
- Vitamin C
- Vitamin E
- Coconut Milk
MY TAKE
STRENGTHS:
- A BLEACHING SOAP THAT IS COMPLETELY NON DRYING. This is my first time trying a bleaching product that isn't skin drying. I've always believed that for a product to be able to do it's job of "bleaching/whitening" the skin, there's an inevitable drying effect to be expected. This soap is a game changer!
- THERE'S A VISIBLE MICROPEELING. You'd notice a non-irritating shedding of dry skin cells. This is a good sign. It means that the product is really working on revealing a more youthful skin without the painful and irritating skin peeling.
- BROAD-SPECTRUM SUNCREEN. The brightening lotion offers a whopping 50 SPF! THIS IS A REAL GREAT CATCH!
- EFFECTIVE YET SUPER AFFORDABLE. The set would only cost you PHP 400.00 (8.30$). Compared to the high-end brands and products, this is a real budget-saver given the amazing effects that it provides!
- VISIBLE RESULTS AFTER 3 DAYS OF CONSTANT USE. Their claims include visible results after 2 weeks. In my case, I've already seen it's commendable effects after 3 days.
CONSTANT VARIABLES: Regular Room Lighting. Light-toned background. Raw Pictures (non-edited). Phone Camera.
NOTES: I personally used light-toned backgrounds for me to be able to see how my skin would appear on whites. However, I don't think that it was able to fully showcase the results (if compared to how it looks in personal). It was late when I realized that I should have used a dark background instead :( Anyways, here's how my skin looks with regular sun lighting and with black cloth as background.
TO TAKE NOTE OF:
- IT WON'T TURN YOUR SKIN INTO A SNOW WHITE LEVEL OF WHITE. It is important to remember that the goal of this set is to constantly remove the dead skin cells on your body inducing a brighter and more youthful skin. I myself is full blooded Filipina whose skin is naturally light brown. My skin darkened due to over sun exposure without using any sun protection. This set visibly turned my skin into a healthier and brighter one.
- THE SOAP LATHERS EASILY. I suggest that you cut your soap into pieces. I tried using it as a whole and because of the fact that it lathers quickly, I've used up too much of the product in a short span of time :(

11/10 WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!
My soap and bottle of lotion is close to being empty. I would definitely repurchase!
